What made you join The STEM Project?

Having seen first hand the value STEM can add to quality of life and aspiration, I am keen to promote and engage with this project.

I recall the first time I went to the race track, I now visit young people in schools who are fascinated and engaged with seeing something different.  They dare to dream about what could be possible and I want more opportunities to help them understand what they can do to achieve what they want to without the perceived barriers that exist.

What would be your dream project and why?

A Motorsport team managed and ran by young people.

This would develop a whole range of skills and experiences that would transcend the sport and encourage 21st century and core life skills in a positive way.

Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2015 New Year Honours for services to rugby
