Tashan has been teaching for over 10 years and has remained in the same all girls' school since his NQT year and was afforded the opportunity to become the Head of Department in his school in and Lead Practitioner in Computer Science. in 2014.
Through his leadership roles, he has implemented change by altering the perception and attitudes of his students, towards Computer Science.; which has subsequently increased the number of students opting to take Computer Science in their GCSE's.
I am keen to be a part of a growing STEM community, whilst apply excellent teaching and learning opportunities for all recipients of The STEM Project.
STEM is hugely relevant to society and providing opportunities to nurture passion and talents of STEM, will only benefit future growth of ideas and inventions.
My dream project would be to design a robotics curriculum that doesn't cost the earth for teachers, parents or young people.
The young women I teach are fascinated by the application of Computer Science principles within a real world context, I want this to be experienced by all!
