    He has powerful ambitions in the future to help develop his home country by investing in projects to build more modern buildings and eco-friendly features that cause less harm to the environment.


     He also volunteers and was key in helping his local community group in Newham obtain the support from fifteen local business to support them as they help build safe havens for youths who are in danger. In his spare time he bakes, books and participates in Muay Thai, football and coding.

    For her16th Birthday she received a microscope, and is currently using it to support her research on life on Earth and Venus, whilst postulating how possible life on Venus is! She plans to either publish her findings as a paper or present it in different STEM competitions. 

     Alongside STEM she also enjoy's Taekwondo and is working toward getting her black belt. She is also part of the RAF Cadets where she  a Corporal and recently participated in the Lord Mayors parade. Noor loves music and also plays two musical instruments, the French Horm and Cello, which she advised really helps to de stress!

     Onyinye believes STEAM is the hope for our future as it inspires curiosity to the younger generation and empowers us all to promote creativity and exploration to find the solutions to societal problems.  She advises that STEAM embraces  technical and artistic (creative) skills of young individuals as well as expressing their innovation . It encourages a positive attitude towards any issues and how to solve them no matter how ‘difficult’. .

In her spare time,  Rebekah plays the violin as part of the school ensemble and enjoys outdoor pursuits such as hiking, walking, cycling and exploring her creative side by baking and experimenting with LEGO designs

    She is very passionate about music and plays multiple instruments. She is  currently preparing for my grade 5 flute exam, grade one piano exam and recently started learning the saxophone. 

    In her free time, she also plays netball at her local club and participates in regular matches and tournaments against other clubs.

This led to her interest in reading books from a range of genres all which allowed her to understand and appreciate everyone’s contrasting views and insights on life and incorporate lessons.


    Recently, Sanjita has found a love for programming websites and tailoring them to reflect her personality and moods whilst also gearing her designs to reflect her whilst engaging with a vast range of audiences. She continues to improve her programming skills and is investing her time into activities which increase her confidence and to help break stereotypes surrounding ethnic women in computer science by becoming a voice and an example to many young girls in order for women in STEM to consistently increase through the future generations.

    From the age of 7 Saskia has been been able to attend (and present) at some of the UK's largest and most engaging science communication events; Big Bang Fair, New Scientist Live, Comic Con, British interactive group, Einstein's Garden and at the age of 9, was afforded 

    Saskia crocheted her mascot STEAM Frog, to represent her STEAM Journey.

    From the age of 7 Saskia has been been able to attend (and present) at some of the UK's largest and most engaging science communication events; Big Bang Fair, New Scientist Live, Comic Con, British interactive group, Einstein's Garden and at the age of 9, was afforded the title of being the youngest person ever to present at The Royal Institution as part of a Liquid nitrogen Show with her parents. 


    With an affinity to learn STEAM in every surrounding, year 9 Saskia spends her down time engaging with the creative arts of acting, ballet and modern dance. She plays the Cello and camps often with the Scouts and is currently working through the duke of Edinburgh Scheme. 

    She aspires to combine her creative skills with science and communication.

    From a young age, Soleil always been inspired by science, and as she has grown, she has realised the importance skills can have that are developed through independent growth and receiving a STEAM education in how they are helping her succeed in everyday life and education. She aspires to become a role model for other young women and girls of colour to show them that STEM careers are engaging, not boring or impossible to enter.


    Away from education Soleil is an experienced athlete and has been known to be involved with a vast array of sporting activities, stemming from her active participation into competitive cheerleading from the age of 6.

    She taught her self to play piano and took this subject at GCSE to further her passion for the discipline. She also enjoys reading a wide mix of genres and watches Anime.

    Yash advises that Robotics is a good combination of all of these skills, that he displays as a lead programmer and sponsor communications in his VEX robotics team, alongside designing and programming the autoregulating software engines, to help produce something that the team had never been explored before.  


    Yash aspires to share and teach STEM to all so that others will take a similar pathway to the one he has had and will find it as fulfilling and aspiring.

    Zeph engages with STEAM not only through education but as a participant of his school's robotics team; his main role being the coder and building. With a few competitions under his belt, the team hope to compete in more competitions this year.
